Completely unique and Danish designed wooden corner shelf, where I have taken the curved shapes from the Kirkeby shelf and used them to create a warm and organic expression in this nice, small and simple corner shelf.
The Thyregod corner shelf is made of solid, mirror-cut oak at my joiner in Latvia, where we use local wood from Latvia and Lithuania.
The shelf is treated with a transparent wax oil, so that it can last for many years, and all edges are lightly rounded and with a high end sanding, so it looks really nice.
It is mounted with two screws in one wall and a single support screw in the opposite wall, so that the screws will be hidden, so that the corner shelf appears as a real floating shelf.
The shelf measures 28 cm from the corner outwards (both ways) and approx. 11 cm in depth, 2 cm in thickness and can carry up to 5 kg.
Assembly instructions, rawlplugs and screws are of course included.
Be aware that the angle in your corner must be exactly 90 degrees for the shelves to fit.
As each shelf is made from several composite wooden beams, there may be color and structure differences in each individual shelf . It is natural and makes it something completely unique. If you have special wishes for the appearance, please note it in the comment field.
Note: If you hang the wooden shelf on plaster walls and similar porous walls, you must use special rawl plugs to achieve the same load-bearing capacity.
