Custom-made shelves are sold without a right of withdrawal, as I cannot sell these shelves to others. Load capacity and mounting type are determined by the size of the shelf. Unfortunately, custom-made shelves and regular products cannot be ordered in the same order.

Get it exactly how you want it. A custom-made floating shelf gives you complete freedom to design a shelf that fits your walls perfectly. You decide the dimensions (within our limits), choose your preferred edge, and find the shade that best matches your decor.

    Each shelf is handcrafted in the EU from locally sourced, solid oak. The surface is treated to beautifully highlight the wood's natural grain and warm glow, while also providing a strong and resistant finish.

    With its timeless expression and simple aesthetics, the shelf fits perfectly into the Scandinavian home. It is classic, elegant, and designed to complement both modern and traditional interior styles.

  • Create your own look: Edge & color
    You have significant influence on the final design. Choose between a curved and organic front edge for a softer look, or a straight edge with slightly rounded corners for a more stringent expression. Additionally, you can choose from three beautiful finishes:

    • Natural oiled (highlights the classic warm oak structure)

    • Dark oiled (gives a deep, exclusive look)

    • Untreated (for those who want it completely raw and perhaps wish to treat it themselves)

  • Elegant storage with concealed mounting
    The shelf elegantly floats on the wall thanks to its concealed mounting. It is ideal for everything from cookbooks in the kitchen to perfumes in the bathroom or decorative items in the living room.

    The shelf can withstand a load of up to 10 kg when mounted with brackets (and up to 5 kg when mounted with regular screws).

You can also get Kirkeby in standard sizes in both a dark variant, natural oiled variant, and an untreated variant.

Since each shelf is made from several joined wooden beams, there may be variations in color and structure in each individual shelf. This is natural and makes it completely unique. 

Note: If you hang the wooden shelf on plasterboard walls and similar porous walls, you will need to use special wall plugs to achieve the same load capacity.
